The hardest part about dining at Westwood is deciding what to devour from their massive menu of more than 200 different delicacies. On cold nights, the piping hot Thai soup hits the spot with mushrooms, tomato and spicy herbs. Large portions of homemade wonton soup and hot & sour soup also does the trick. Perfect for sharing are the lavishly stuffed vegetable spring rolls, tender slice of B.B.Q pork, and steamed pork dumplings. On Westwood’s menu discover authentic dishes that brim with your daily dose of veggies. The pad Thai, loaded with tofu, egg, bean sprouts and roasted cashew nuts, hits the spot along with the sticky sweet lemon chicken. A number of Szechuen dishes are seasoned with sweet herbs and spices such as cayenne hot peppers and chili. For a real treat, order the whole Peking duck. This mouthwatering extravagance features thinly carved crispy duck skin served with steamed rice crepes, cucumber, scallion and hoisin sauce. For the second course, savour shredded duck meat stuffed with vegetables. If duck isn’t your forte, regulars can’t resist the lobster cooked in either black bean sauce or ginger and green onions. A number of jumbo shrimp dishes, loaded with chunks of pineapple or ginger, don’t disappoint. Vegetarians don’t fret. Westwood serves a handful of tofu dishes loaded with veggies, veggies and more veggies.
