Big Daddy's Crab Shack & Oyster Bar - Toronto Reviews

Big Daddy's is so amazing it has become my base of comparision for each of the dishes below. Their crab cakes are unbelievable!! Not only are the cakes delicious but they are made even better with the roasted red pepper sauce drizzled on top; this is a rareity because most places will only serve them with boring seafood sauce. The cocconut shrimp are also drool-worthy: the tangy sauce that comes with, perfectly compliments the sweet taste of the cocconut. But wait I am not done....the piece-de-resistance...& by far one of the best things I have EVER tasted....... THE FONDUE (Chicken or seafood). This dish is the reason why I return. This is not your traditional fondue...it is more of a baked dip served with lightly toasted slices of bagguette....TO DIE FOR!! This place is definitely my favourite seafood resturant in Toronto.

I've always heard of the infamous CRAB DADDY's, yet every attempt to make my debut, fell short of glory... Then one fate-filled night, a friend and I felt for something a lil' cajun and just happened to be on King street...that's when the worlds collided... If you want a food experience, YOU HAVE TO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!! It was OUTSTANDING! We tried SO many different fares that I think we got a GRAND idea of what they have to offer...crab cakes, lobster boils, crawfish, and their expertise doesn't end at the food...the drinks were splendid as well! I have nothing but glowing reviews of this establishment... Check it and you'll see why...CAUTION: It's addictive :)

This restaurant was my first and last stop in Canada..........fantastic crabcakes and outstanding King crab legs!!!!
